Ok, this will get complicated but please listen as I'm certain others have quit the game just because of this reason.
So I bought D2, Forsaken and Shadowkeeo digital deluxe on my bro's account on the ps4. I initially played as a hunter and warlock on his acc until I got my own. When I got my own ps subscription service I played as a warlock having the privilege to play all dlc without issues from the gameshare.
That all changed when shadowkeep arrived. I was very eager to play it, having waited for months; although I was excited for the story, the endgame content was what made me want to play it. So I load up shadowkeep and was able to play the story with no problem; However, I couldn't access other activities because of some stupid new gameshare rule that I was not told about - apparently, gamesharing no longer works like before, keep in mind that I can access that on my brother's acc as I bought the game on his acc.
So as a result, it was stated that I had no season pass and had to buy it with silver, being so eager to play it, I went ahead and tried to buy silver in which I couldn't because I didn't have the game on the acc I was playing on. So in a fit of fury I uninstalled the game.
It has been seven months since I've played Destiny, with this whole quarantine situation, I had to find ways to pass time. Currently, there is a sale on the D2 "Upgrade edition" which includes the base game plus dlcs and season pass. My question is, if I buy it, will my warlock achievements and data be still saved? Or will it make me start again even though I already have a character with achievements unlocked.
I am 100% I'm not the only player who's been thinking of this lately
