Given that more or less all countries are beginning to feel the effects of the virus in terms of pubs, gyms and schools closing down, there’s been a lot of free time to go around for a lot of people.
I’ve been lucky enough to keep working but in around 2 or 3 weeks I’d say I’ll be out of a job until it blows over. Lectures have been totally cancelled as well as the gym being closed so I’ve basically spent my time going on runs and playing the Sims 4 (free on PS+ I believe a few months ago) and so far I’ve been able to escape the boredom.
What about you guys? What have you been doing so far?

Well to be honest beside not eating out anymore, since I often eat out, and having to plan my grocerys better overal not that much has changed. My work is still considered essential, in fact I did do some work with the virus last Friday, so I still go to work each day, on my bike like any other day. And at home I usualy play games or watch movies, just like most other days, now I just have to order dinner a lot more. I just get less visitors but that is alright, I can't affort getting infected at the moment, well I can I won't lose my job if I do, but it is pretty busy at work and I like my job.

1 AntwortenSSDD My schedule is effectively unchanged. The whole social distancing thing seem to have stirred up all my extrovert acquaintances. For us introverts, it's a way of life.

I work somewhere that the government has deemed “vital to the functioning of society” because we se things that let people work and school from home. However, starting Monday we will be in pseudo lockdown status. Closing early and doing mostly curbside pickup because there will be a limit on how many people can be in the store at a time.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cozyman Cam: 3/20/2020 5:20:44 PMWorking and reading primary source articles on SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Honestly, it sucks that both the CDC and WHO aren't promoting the info. The number of infected is greater than 32 times the number of confirmed cases. For the significant majority of infections, the symptoms are that of the typical seasonal cold or flu. Like SARS-CoV (SARS), SARS-CoV-2 fatalities are primarily the elderly. It's cool. We get in a big uproar over the elderly dying of COVID-19, then we don't even bat an eye at infants dying of influenza.
