If I quit any type of match out of frustration, I'd appreciate if your servers didn't match me back into the same match I quit in...twice...

1 AntwortenYour load outs are a plebs load out
-
If you quit you should get thrown back on the team you quit. Karma is a -blam!-.
-
1 AntwortenThis is a straight up slap in the face to all those guardians who actually finished that gambit or crucible match that had them screaming at their tvs. You know those matches, the ones where in the back of your mind you are thinking 'If I were a lesser man, I would quit on these -blam!- right now for being so DUMB!' Furiously gnashing your teeth, punching parts of your body, slamming the mouse down. Enduring those looks from your wife and daughter who think you are such a loser for participating in something that makes you look that unappealing.... Yeah dude, before you quit out of another match, think again. Pay homage to those that have suffered.

1 AntwortenLol. I was in a game that stsrted 5v5 one time, someone left my team and was dropped back in on the other team to make it a 4v6.🤯

Had a guy leave during a comp match that was 3-3, he wasn’t doing shit and kept wasting all our lives. Then me and the other warlock with me clutched the 2v3 and won the match. If that jerk had just stayed he would’ve got a free win for no help at all. Maybe don’t quit matches? Sometimes I get it, yeah it’s not always worth it to beat your head against a wall for what amounts to a stomp. But you miss out on loot and xp, and you’re screwing over the people you’re playing with even more.

6 AntwortenAt least its not the kinda matchmaking that puts you in a server with other quitters. Thats the penalty I think quitters deserve
-
That sounds like a 'you' problem...
-
Oh so you're the one who keeps leaving those games!
-
1 AntwortenMaybe dont bail on teammates and force others to join the game you left midway?
-
Casuals like you disgust me.
-
I’m sorry but I can’t stand quitters.
-
1 AntwortenYeah. You shouldn't quit matches. I mean we all do it occasionally, but honestly we never should.
-
Should put quitters into a quitters lobby.
-
3 AntwortenQuitters never win.
-
Yeah you should. Quit a match, then play something else. Matching you where you disconnected would be nice. I lost out on a perfect gambit game and the -blam!-ing "Oops you left an ongoing match" BS came up and I wanted to throw my controller. Especially because it is -blam!-ing Gambit which is a shitshow in itself and I missed out on 200 bright dust too. I need to be reconnected to my game if they are willing to boot me out of it so easily.

Here's a hint. If your frustrated. And you absolutely must quit a game for your own sanity. Take a break. Make a sandwich. Walk the dog. If you just want to jump back in right away, you're still frustrated. Once you're tilted, things aren't going to get better by playing another match right away.

Hahaha you should have seen coming the type of critical response you'd get. I'll offer some more neutral comment: I imagine the connection algorithm is set up to have us rejoin any match in case of network failure, I don't think it 'knows' or differentiates between a return to orbit, etc. and a connection failure. More controversially, there is some justification for leaving if you are massively mismatched or are solo playing and are repeatedly put in with stacks. That is a side issue that needs to be sorted on Bungie's end. Of course any player who does so in any sense of reasonable fairness still risks warnings, etc.

Clueless.
-
I get that

I mean, I'm torn on this part. I rarely quit out of games, and when I do it's usually due to some connection hick-up. If I'm doing Comp I kind of like being able to rejoin the match, to see if it's salvageble.

I'm wondering why you should be let into a match right away anyways, there's 4+ other players you most likely leave frustrated yourself
