Let me just start off by saying I have been playing Destiny since the beta. Love it. Nerfs, buffs, whatever they do will not stop me from playing it. Also, since first day of D1 I have only had one character. One single Titan that has seen close to everything D1 and D2 has to offer. Over the past few months however, he has the one who has been helping me. My Grandmother had a traumatic fall, 2 blood transfusions, memory loss and all that bad stuff. That those who have had an elderly family member go through it, lets just say it sucks. However, it got worse. Her memory began to deteriorate, disintegrate. Didn't know who I was, my Mother (her daughter). Had to take her to the ER last week. Got a call a day later, brain cancer. 94 years old. Unfortunately, we can no longer care for her and we had no choice but to go hospice care. She has no idea she will never be able to come home. I did everything I could to keep her in her home that her husband, my Grandfather built. Now, it is awfully quiet. No other family members besides my Mother. I had a job that I loved doing everyday but since my Grandmother needed me more, it had to take a backseat, if you will. Thankfully I will always have a position there so I can go back to work anytime I please. Destiny is really what is therapeutic for me. Have some trauma of my own from finding her on the floor after her fall. Lot of blood, carpet replaced, whole thing was...no words for it. Time will help, support groups, professional help but everyone has that one special thing. I have such a a deep connection now more than ever to my Titan. Also how expansive, amazing, changing and just awesome not just the game but the community, too. Destiny is helping me more than you will know. So did typing this, so I thank you for putting up with me. To all those at Bungie, thank you. To all of you who in the community and who have read this, thank you.
