In the constitution under articles of impeachment it clearly states that no president can elicit another foreign government for personal gain. Trump not only did this but he also admitted to it on national television with documentation proving he did.
I'm not making this up, you can totally look it up and see for yourself.

WRONG! I have read it and Zelensky is the one that brought it up. Trump also explicitly said quid pro quo was unacceptable.

Your source is a little off, Impeachment was almost not included and was heavily debated for that reason. Conveniently missing from the article. You still haven't changed my mind.

I do question potential/leaders, especially when they offer free healthcare to illegal immigrants or when they threaten to shred the bill of rights. I.E. threats to the second amendment.

But not when they engage in illegal activities or ask them to explain themselves for their actions? I know you'll never waver from defending Trump and you'll rather listen to what he says rather than look at what he does. That's entirely on you.

Lets assume, what he did was criminal. Are you also going to hold Biden, Hillary, Obama, and Shiff to the same degree. Shiff flat out committed fraud within the fisa courts. Obama openly said he could do more for them once he won his re-election. Hillary deleted 30k+ subpoenaed emails and Biden openly bragged about quid pro quo on TV.

I can respect that, however, most of the left leaning opinions here don't reflect that? I still don't think what Trump did was a crime, but I can at least respect the fact that you appear to hold them all to the same standard.

I [b][u]DO NOT[/u][/b] identify as Democrat. They are more or less wanting the same as Republicans but more sneaky in their methods as in trying to convince you to give them your baby's bottle. Where as Republicans are just bold with their actions but will lie to your face as if they are stealing your baby's bottle while telling you that they're not. Both sides are corrupt and rotten to the core, not saying that all are like that but you get the jist. Im for any policy that benefits the people 100%. MediCare for All for every American citizen, yes. Increased minimum wage with annual increases to bring people back from poverty, yes. Make college part of public school, yes. These are all reasonable things that every American can benefit from, not just the privileged. Trump promised change and that he would take on the establishment when he campaigned in 2016, but he lied and instead made cuts to everything he said he was going to fix. I'm tired of politicians lying to us and only working to better themselves instead of trying to make our nation better. If everyone benefits so do they, but they don't see it that way.

Those things sound good, but the cost of it, just isn't feasible. I do agree that minimum wage should have increased more than it has over the past 20 some years, just don't jump it up to 15 an hour over night. Small businesses can't handle it. Minimum wage in my state is 7.65 roughly, my job pays me 10 an hour, but if they had to increase my wages to 15, I would get a significant cut in hours. Personally, I think Gov needs to butt out of Healthcare and Education. They can barely manage a country. You have and will see more increases in costs of both if the Gov gets more control over those 2 sectors. The Gov doesn't negotiate prices and just pays what the colleges and Healthcare say is the going rate and they take full advantage of that.

The costs would be balanced by the wealth tax. It's only for the extremely wealthy and the revenue it would generate would easily pay most of the cost and the increase of taxes for medicare4all people would still be paying less than what they are paying now for insurance. Also, did you know that there is a business welfare? Some of the most profitable businesses in America and the world are getting huge sums of money from the government as welfare when they don't even pay taxes here. So much of American tax money is wasted on corporations who don't even give back to the country in any way other than what they give to elected officials. Totally true. I've lived long enough to see America change from a nation that provided to one that takes. Especially after that bill was passed that allowed corporate money into politics. America has become a tax haven for corporations, as in not having to pay taxes and regulations are nearly all gone, and as long as they get their way the people will continue to suffer and things will get worse.

I don't agree with the method, but loopholes for Corporations do need to be closed, as for the wealth tax, it is technically double dipping. Once again, close the loopholes they have, make them pay the proper amount of tax and leave their already taxed money alone. I just don't agree with taxing someone for the assets they own while also taxing them on the money they made. I don't care how much money they have. Its overly simplified, but that is the gist of what I believe would work.
