How are you guys still on the core issue? I had less than 100 before shadowkeep now I have almost 250 and I don’t play that much. Do your gunsmith bounties every day and pop a finest every so often. They drop all the time.

with 250 cores you can almost Master Work 2 pieces.

You're missing the point, it's not the lack of cores the problem.. it's just that i (and near 300 ppl more) want an easy way to get them to also put to good use all those shards that we don't use.
