.I know that Bungie has the full authority to set the prices to whatever they deem appropriate, but it would be lovely if Bungie would reconsider the pricing for Indonesia region.
Sadly not strictly accurate.
There is a whole thing about average regional pricing and how its designed to balance accross regions, but for now lets just talk about tax.
Tax is the biggest factor, the money men at Bungie (including extremely complex insurance requirements) have to make a certain amount per sale to remain profitable, but regardless of how much they wish to set as a price, tax still has to be added relevant to each country or region.
In fact, in many cases companies probably have to reduce their own margins to balance the added tax. If the final price is too high then no one will buy it but then they raise their margin in other countries to balance their income.
Tax in the UK is quite high for example, compared to places like Argentina, Korea and Turkey. Personally I buy all my games digitally and often buy them from other regions' stores as they're much cheaper. I got the original Division gold edition for £16 from Argentina, in the UK it cost £80!
So yeah, Bungie won't help with the pricing I'm afraid. But maybe learn to buy from other regions.

As far as I know I don't think it applies in Indonesian Steam region though, at least not yet (I could be totally wrong). But yeah, it's a little oversight from my part to say that. Thanks :) About buying from other regions, I have thought about that since it was possible to do it on Steam some time ago. Unfortunately it is no longer doable, which lead me to write this to Bungie. I also saw a few threads asking the similar thing in other regions and it seemed to work (maybe because there were some errors from the beginning? I am not sure), so it's worth a try at least ;)
