I hope I'm wrong but my gut is telling me that they had to cut some corners because they spent a lot of time getting cross-save done and focusing on this ala-carte / seasonal nonsense and moving EV to the director. They also focused on having new players be able to jump in with vets for end game content and many content creators don't want to grind out to level up and get raid-ready so there seems to be a plan for that as well. I'm not saying any of this is bad, but the teams can only do so much. Y2 was better than Y1, so I'm sure Y3 will keep the ball moving forward. Seems like Quality of Live team has been saving everything for shadow-weep. It will be interesting to see what we have in store for us. I'll buy the game if it's $20 during Black Friday, otherwise, I should be playing other games or waiting to see how things work out. I'm really looking forward to Surge 2 and Borderlands 3 along with a few other games. Crossing my fingers, that things turn out for the better.
