None of the current content they don't. When its old after an expansion then they can.

Ugh yes they do. I was one of them. Use to one or two group current raid content in eq 1 and 2.. Downed the sleeper and nagafen (in his lair when he was "invincible and 20 levels higher than current cap) The eq2 raids were designed for 4 groups. Or a group or 2 of players who understood stats. The only way to stop people is to gate things behind raw numbers of bodies. There should always be breathing room for skill over body count.

That was optimization. Skill level should be baised off of everyone in the group. Again that was what WoW did for a little while and then they moved away from that. For the hard mode raids you all had to be at your A game or a few people being carried but still doing mechanics.

We did the stuff in lower level gear.. We just understood how the game worked, how our classes worked and had very fast take action times.. In a game like this that is skill. Doesn't matter if you have uber leet gear if you stay in one spot getting blasted in the face you die.
