They actually are, when you have a pleasant team to play with. This laundry list of rules might seem like a lot until you break it down. Don't be a dick, take it seriously (but not too seriously), don't hold anyone to standards you don't meet, and know the raid if you're sherpa'ing someone through. My first ever raid group could've learned a lot from this list.

Those are things you can applie to real life with a good education To sum up : -dont lie -dont be hypocrite -be respectfull -dont be a pig eating loudly. -communicate

Patience is just as important as any of them that you mentioned, very few in raids wanna spend any time helping a random take ages to complete a raid. The advice given is make your own team, yeah that’s a very neighbourly human being thing to do.

I mean most on the list are appropriate for a multitude of activities. Most are just proper etiquette of being a human being. Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

Its not like a strict set of rules, just some good general ideas that would help everyone get along better. A lot of players on the LFG's have never done this before, so its good for them to know how things work, and a good reminder for veterans.

I've gotten a guy for Leviathan back on Xbox and he comes in blaring classical orchestra, me and my cousin politely ask "hey can you turn your music down? We can't really hear" and he goes in this huge rant about how "no, I won't turn my music down, and no I don't take 'suggestions' you can live with it" So we promptly made fun of him until he left
