Faction Exclusive Catalysts - will there be another chance to claim?
I recently switched to the PC version of Destiny 2, and I would like to get some of the Faction Rally Exotic Catalysts, the sunshot catalyst to be specific. It’s something i hope will not be abandoned, as I earned it on console, and I have no opportunity to reclaim my catalyst on a different platform. So, my question to any bungie devs: will there ever be a chance to attain the catalysts?

Coming to Eververse some time soon. Activision have pretty much told Bungie to ramp up the monetisation.

They said there would be ways to acquire them after the fact, but factions have been gonna for quite some time. I imagine as soon as we hear about the updated Faction Rallies, we will here more about the catalysts.

They did explain in one of the TWABs that the catalysts will be returning in Year 2... IIRC, they said there will be other avenues for acquiring them, as it seems the “pledge allegiance to one faction across all characters” didn’t stick with the community. It was a good experiment, but I don’t think it’s entirely sustainable, so I hope they mix things up in Y2. Need me those other 2 masterworks!

It's turning out the same way that vault space solution they promised before roi launched that was supposed to come out after the dlc did.

They said there would be a way to get them but haven’t bothered to say how or when. They’re not very good at actually communicating what is going on. But what’s new?

I fee ya man. I refused to get the graviton lance catalyst cause I didn't wanna be 'that guy'. But now that it's not meta, I kinda wanna it to make orbs

They said there would be other chances back in July but sweet Jesus we're going into December. They better become available in Black Armory.

Towards the end of faction rallies, Bungie said they will be available after faction rallies, but they have yet to show up in game. It was confirmed by the devs, however, so at some point they will come bsck

I wish we knew when the next Rally was.

Before all this Forsaken. Bungie said yes there would be a way. The way has yet to be paved, again, I guess. So no, so far.
