Fun fact about the Malfeasance...

Malfeasance work together, the Drifter isn’t lying about everyone taking a shot to kill Shin. The Malfeasance explosives work when there is 5 of the needles on the enemy not when a Guardian shoots it 5 times.
Everyone should know this but the Malfeasance is made from the husk of a Thorn (Callum’s to be exact).
The Malfeasance confirms the fact that the Drifter has taken a liking to us (or at the very least find us important enough) due to the note that he wrote in the Lore.
That the Malfeasance is essentially proof that you are apart of the Drifter’s crew.
As IceApfel said The Malfeasance is a better Thorn. Thorn and it’s other clones had some... side effects. Users often went insane due to their strong connection to the darkness. The Malfeasance however doesn’t have the unfortunate effect of driving one into insanity but still taps into a form of Darkness.
Prediction: I feel that in the future the Malfeasance will have the ability to permanently kill a Guardian without killing the ghost like the Thorn.

He genuinely calls you one of his crew once you hit dredgen rank, the title. He has a unique dialogue once you hit dredgen and visit him in the tower it’s pretty cool

6 AntwortenBut what’s the damn point to use it in PvP? 1. 5 shots can kill ANY GUARDIAN (except roaming supers) 2. Not everyone has the damn gun because it’s still tied to rng 3. How can it be a better Thorn if it isn’t OP and it will also drive you insane on how useless it is in competitive

So in theory I make my auto rifle in a weapon of darkness, just by adding hive bone right. So it will be better than thorn and malfeasance. - dredgen strelitzia

2 AntwortenMalfeasance is a better Thorn. Thorn and it’s other clones had strong effects on their wielder. Their pull to the darkness was too strong, everyone who wielded them went mad. Not with Malfeasance. It’s a way of using the darkness without the common repercussions.

Finally someone else sees that the Malfeasance isn't a solo weapon......sure it can be used as one....but it truly shines when used in conjunction with others.
