Why do you punish the team that summons the prime evil first?
I so sick of the other team getting infinite portals and then bombing u with their trash mobs just cause they held back and waited for your team to summon the prime first....Can you say "Breakthrough" all over again...

Lol I played a game of Gambit earlier. We summoned our primeval a minute or two after the other team and didn't even have a primeval Slayer buff two seconds before they melted their primeval from full to no health in less than 5 seconds. That indicates to me that if you are on the team that summons first, and still manage to lose with 2 or 3 more Slayer buffs than the other team, you are trash. The catch up mechanic is fine.

8 AntwortenI don’t get why people complain about the catch up mechanics, if you lose because the enemy team caught up after you summoned yours you probably wouldn’t have won if they summoned theirs first. The invades don’t really matter as once they summon theirs your team can invade too, If your complaining that the invader constantly heals the primeval up then the problem is not killing the invader fast enough.

1 AntwortenHow about when you see the losing players’s portal open (Before Someone comes through) you all take cover and figure where they come from, kill them, then go back to killing the prime evil? You don’t have to kill the Boss all in one go you know... Also if that portal thing didn’t happen, every game would be one sided and then everyone would want Skill based matchmaking (And what a joke that is lol). So don’t complain and GET A STRATEGY! XD

I went yesterday and got a team together from the app. We rarely saw the 3rd round and won enough for us to all move up a rank. Queing solo is asking for irritation.

That's a strategy many use. If you time things right and let the opponent summon first, you can have enough held to summon 2-3 knights or ogres on top of all of their primeval summons. Between that and constant invasions many teams break down.

1 AntwortenI would play Gambit nonstop if it were only 1 single round instead of 3. I think next to Age of Triumph its the second coolest thing to happen to Destiny.

The most irritating thing is the boss has a huge area melee that sends you flying.

How hard can it be to have solo players playing against other solo's and teams playing teams? Even better have there be dif loot like having armor set or what not for team based and a dif one fore solo.. come on guys

On top of that all the matches you get put into that others have left then stuck finishing it out as to not incur the quitter pen. Its just a huge waste of peoples time when its clear that the other team is toying with you and going to win.

We lost 9 motes....other team lost 72....we had 14 invader kills...enemy team had 3.....and somehow we lost the match despite annihilating them the first round and beating them in every single area of the game.....I literally can't buy a win at the moment....I'm not even joking. Im losing every singke game I play. I just used this app to find a team and all I heard all match was 'guardian down'.....it was awful.

Basically Breakthrough, yes. If you capture the point (which is playing the objective), you're suddenly at a disadvantage now.

It's annoying but it's a strategy. It's up to one of you to invade and punish them for holding on to the motes. In other words it's a gamble for them. They technically don't know if their is a pvp God on the other side. So if you fail to invade and deny those motes their gamble pays off.

56 AntwortenBad players say the darndest things. Could it be you didn’t do a good job of ad clearing? Could it be that you didn’t invade to counter stall by the time their primeval came up? Could it be you wasted time trying to melt the boss instantly instead of letting the stacks build up and letting the enemy run a few invasions down first? No, obviously it is the devs who are wrong. Zero responsibility throughout this entire thread. It’s simple really. Anyone who has lost a gambit match after summoning their primeval first has no one to blame but themselves for poor management.

If I’m running with a team and we summon the primeval first we always clear the witches and most of the adds. Wait for an invader and either take him out or if he kills some of us not a huge deal because we haven’t done any damage yet to the primeval. Then once the invader is gone use melting point, blade barrage, and ep shotties on the boss and it’s usually dead before they can invade again.

they need to be able to hold you back SOMEHOW, and if they keep invading then they will have 1 less person to help collect motes for their side.

3 AntwortenThe worst is the infinite portals lol we work as a team and summon our prime evil just to get mapped by a QBB from someone who has a health buff and overshield and knows we are all gonna be huddled around the boss trying to DPS so he kills us with an insanely OP weapon and all the ammo we poured into the boss just went to waste so now we have no ammo, no supers, we get spawned away from the fight and then we lose everything we worked so hard for so the disorganized, sloppy team can get the win. It's frustrating but I'm addicted to trying to get that Dredgen under my name 😂
