Hunters OHK why not?
It a real question I would realy like to know why is it not a thing when warlock got their handheld nova and titan with the shoulder charge. I'm really wounded why hunters slide melee does not OHK.
It's not because of range because it has about the same range as shoulder charge, But shoulder charge make you get closer to your opponent . well the melee knee slide propels you into the sky while stopping you movement for a short moment making you Vulnerable To your enemies attacks. It also doesn't have an insane hit and tracking detection. Matter of fact you have to be very precise with it.
It s very under powered making. So can somebody please explain to me why it not a OHK, now dont get me wrong I'm not saying buff it im just say I dont understand because it clearly has something over the shoulder charge and handheld nova. I'm really just trying to understand so if someone please explain to me what I'm missing

4 AntwortenI’d be fine with it OHKing if you couldn’t get infinite knives with precision hits. That would give you guys an OHK melee without an exotic. If they made it an OHK they should change that perk to make it so it just recharges a portion of melee energy as opposed to all of it

I'm a hunter, who plays vanilla, and I have to say, I think hunters are perfect how they are, I come up against hammer titans and spectral blades all the time, my gunslinger still comes out on top, forget a ohk melee. I do miss blink strike, but I'm just as good without it

Bearbeitet von Enochua: 9/30/2018 5:04:27 AMi think what has happened is for too long hunters have had it easy and now they have to actually be good to be good. hunters aren't strong enough to ohk lul. really tho hunters have many tools at their disposal, why would they have ohk. best combat effective jump, most utility when it comes to melee and nades. easy fire and forget nades that cant kill them or teammates. a melee that suppresses, smokes that slow, disorientate and kill. all this equates to the best neutral game of all three classes, and thats not even all their pros did you know that warlocks new charged nade can kill them if the person they throw it at is too close? did you know that you can kill teammates with the new charged nades?

Hunters are wee thin people that jump about. They don't get an OHK because they are wee thin people that jump about. Different classes for different things.

11 AntwortenLol hunters are still 70% of the crucible poplulation. No buff needed. All classes are currently balanced. All classes have advantages and disadvantages.

21 AntwortenThe warlocks hand held nova is meant to be ohk, you're throwing 5 mini nades, what's you expect? And shoulder charge is meant to be ohk too because 1. You need to get close to them and 2. You need to expose yourself with no defends mechanism, stop crying, hunters are fine

Why don't warlocks get the means to suppress supers and abilities? Not every class gets the same stuff. Hunters and Titans get to suppress, Warlocks and Titans can ohk. It's all part of Destiny's sweet sorrow.

I don't care about OHK Allow titans OHK Allow more mobility for hunters BY DEFAULT we shouldn't be the slowest class with the shortest jump range. I'd love to see a removal of skating from PC, and a buff to hunter sprint speed by about 20% Warlocks can have all their recovery options i'm perfectly fine with that. As annoying as shoulder charging titans with shotguns are in PVP right now i can deal with it on most maps... not all but most...

1 Antwortenas a hunter main you have to apply yourself creatively... use a void blade with those exotic pants that takes there radar away... its insane i dont even need to use my melee because they dont even get lose enough to me to OHK and even if they do iv got a 900 rpm fusion that has plan B for them.

9 AntwortenMobility would be my reason. Hunters are far and away the most mobile class. To give them both high level mobility and OHK capability would be a little ridiculous IMO. But I dont really play crucible so idgaf as long as it's good in pve. And it is.

1 AntwortenThe trouble giving that subclass a OHK is its got the best grenades in the game, skips. As much as I feel Hunters need a OHK melee to even things up I can’t see a viable option right now.

3 AntwortenThey should go back to like D1 was where a solar hunter's throwing knife is a OHK if you have the build with "Explosive Knife" on. Also, trip mines should stick to people, there is no tracking or aim assist. A trip mine stick is 100% skill and without that ability, trip mines are useless.
