Still, my point stands. Ignore it for too long and publishers will make it worse. I still think being able to straight up buy orbs to get skills is really bad.

Not that I care, but didn't the last of us have a ton of microtransactions? And isn't that considered one of the best games of all time?

Did it's SP have them? The multiplayer side becomes irrelevant when most of your playerbase plays the single player. Mass effect 3/Andromeda also has microTs but why does it go unnoticed? Because when only 500 people play it (multiplayer) compared to the millions playing SP, it essentially means people don't care.
