My Whole Team Left My Comp Game And...
So my entire team rage quit because we got queued against a full fireteam (again). Needless to say I had an agonizingly painful experience running around the map for 10 minutes while the assholes on the other team team shot and subsequently T-bagged me.

"Ranked" is a -blam!-ing joke in this game. I'm actually so sick of getting matched against full fireteams. I've come with an inch of tossing my controller at my -blam!-ing screen on multiple occasions now. Before anyone says "Just play with a team"
1. I have a team, but we all have lives and aren't always all on at the same time. And no one on LFG wants to play with someone who's KD is below 1.5 (because they'repussies who eant to be carried every game)
2. In literally every other game with a ranked mode worth its salt this isnt an issue. Either because there are separate queued or the matchmaking formula sctually attempts to make the games evenly matched. Destiny should be no exception
Edit: I was hella salty when I made this. My main problem here isnt so much the 4 stack, but me still losing points for when my entire team gives up, and how I was forced to stay because I didnt want to get a leaver penalty.

7 AntwortenIronically in this case the issue isn't the stack. It's the solo players. Solos players are the problems that comp has.

People are quitting every other game when I solo queue. It’s a problem I hope Bungie needs to take seriously.

11 AntwortenAll salt, no reason. Solo queue in a competitive playlist and I hope you face the sweat fest that awaits you. It wasn't designed for a solo experience. It was designed for crucible players to literally sweat their balls off. People have the right to ask for a KD requirement. Excuse me if I don't want to get in a game and haul a 0.7 through hell and back. As for your teammates leaving, I appreciate that's a ball ache. And I agree, something needs to be done. But do not complain about facing a team.

12 AntwortenCan't get mad at people for wanting a strong team of good players, I'm 1.8 and I wouldn't want 1.5 because people I've played with who are 1.5 just aren't that good, when I play Como and I LFG I ask for people my light or close/better so as a 1.88 average I'll accept a 1.7+ if I already have 2 at Atleast 1.8

64 AntwortenSo much salt. As far as the LFG players who ask for 1.5+...that’s their right. You being mad you don’t meet that requirement is no one else’s fault but yours. I can understand the feeling of wanting to play with good players but don’t you think they’d want the same thing? And MOST of the players playing this game have lives FYI. It’s called balance.

4 AntwortenPersonally I think the penalty for leaving should be harder. Either way is a loss on the card. Same amount of points. But if one was too loose half a rank or even a full rank, watch no one leave!

I avoid the competitive playlist like the plague, so my two cents may not matter much, but here goes. I think the competitive playlist is probably something you may want to wait for your team for. Sure you can go in solo, but it doesn't make sense for this game mode. If you choose to go solo into a game mode that's supposed to be competitive teams working together seamlessly, I kinda feel like you deserve what you get.

Try to create your own fireteam on LFG and then let people that you want in at your own discretion?

There is a reason why you lose glory even if your teammates leave. If that wasn't the case, it would be just another exploit waiting to happen. Then we'd have people whining about how people that don't deserve Luna's Howl have it anyway.

Eh I got Luna’s Howl after 2 and a half days of playing hard. There’s points where I got to 1,700 points then dropped down to 1,400 points. It’s definitely frustrating but I prevailed and got the gun. This season isn’t as painful as last season.

I have no problem leaving comp games and getting suspended. Why should I stay in a game where I’m the only one doing well?

Yeah deffo sucks that other people hopping into the comp queue as a solo don't stick around win or lose. They don't deserve to be playing comp if they aren't gonna play against someone better. That's the point of a competition.

No offense but, not every gun or game type is meant for everybody. It sucks to know but that's how it is. I'll admit the competitive playlist was a bad idea, it's just a saltmine with a toxic waste land next to it. This is a game after all man. Catch you a break if you need to then jump back in later. Its your game that you went out to buy. You make your own time for. So stay cool guardian.
