Ever since we killed Oryx and Eris made her cryptic last cut scene appearance, I believe we had a plant in our midst. I mean why else would she have 3 eyes that ooze, looking very Hive like? Every other Guardian we've encountered that have been "missing for millennia" all look fairly normal, guardian-y, but not her. She looks like Morticia Adams with 3 glowy, gooey eyes.
