Too often I see other solo players quit at the beginning of the match or before even spawning in, when they see a 4 stack team.
When matchmaking solo, if you see a 4 stack, it usually means the skill level of that team is well below the skill level of the individual solo players.
Way more often than not, we outright stomp 4 stack teams when queued solo.
So just a word of advice, get over the worry of 4 stack vs. solo, play the match, and likely you’ll see you can crush the team as 4 solos.
It can’t be just me that notices this?
Edit: Dammit, as noted below, I was speaking for Competitive playlist. My bad

Finding way too many quitters, the penalty is NOT harsh enough. Players quitting matches as soon as they die even before the round is done, even if we're winning. Quitting when we win the first round, but lose the second and now it's tied. Way too many quitters cowaring out.
-
I can't get a team that will finish a match. The opponents make no difference at this point .
-
5 AntwortenYeah... Try saying that to all the 4 stacks i get who have a 16.0 KD at the end of the match...while my team ends with a 0.4 KD. Same skill level my behind.
-
I never even look at who's on the other team or what they're using because none of it matters. The goal is to kill more than I die, doesn't matter who I'm playing against or what they're using.
-
It's so annoying when people do that. I play solo too and when my teammates don't quit we 9 times outta 10 kick some clan ass.
-
1 AntwortenSolo player: I have to agree. I notice all the time that the losing team is a 4 stack.
-
Quiting matches is for losers. Period. I’m completely average in PvP. Actually, if I’m average, I’d be surprised. I’d never quit a match though. The outcomes shouldn’t mean that much in a video game.

1 AntwortenAnd here I was wasting my valuable time just worrying about all these poor 4 stacks. I just wanted the best for them.
-
If I see a four stack before the queu is full, then I leave. If the game is already started I stay
-
exactly 4 stacks in quickplay are terrible. just cause they have a meta equipped doesnt mean they are skilled. those guys are easily outplayable
-
I notice it as well better than 90% of the time games against 4 stacks end in a win for me hell 1 group was 14 power level using damaged weapons you start the game with lol I kinda felt bad for them though
-
lol in the brief time I played D2, that was never my experience at all. Dunno if they're still using SBMM, but it certainly seemed like it which in my case meant I was screwed being a top 1%. I can handle a few newbies, but 4 other pros in a stack? Nope, F that.
-
Nice try 4 stacker, trying to trick poor solo players into staying so you can pub stomp them for easy wins.
joking
-
I don't leave, but I like a challenge. Kids these days don't. They just want everything to be easy

When I went into crucible, (gave it up after the go fast dropped), it was usually with 3 friends in the same clan. The thing is, we were all different levels of ability. Some were good, others, not so much. Point is, not every 4 stack is a team looking to pub stomp. Some are just a group of friends that like to play together. Our only advantage was we were in a party and could talk with each other. BUT, that was not always an advantage, because a lot of the time, we are just talking to each other, not communicating about the match. Not all 4 stacks are pub stompers, some are just friends, who happen to be in the same clan, that like to play together.

1 AntwortenWhat if Glory had been based on personal merit? You know, 1 point for each kill with bonuses for streaks .5 for an assist, negative 1 for a death? Nope, nevermind. Bungie says, Your personal merit is Valor and you can have The Marine instead. Spoiler alert, it sucks.
-
I don’t care about 4 stack teams, unless they are from the same clan then they are not ransoms from lfg, eill never back out though, my ass has been pounded and abused many times in pvp
-
Good post. But I get stacked teams of 4 all the time and yet they win by mercy. Like 70-4 or something like that. And I don’t want to be in a game where I get 600 deaths and 1 kill.
-
It mostly depends on who gets the connection. As solo, i've won from very high placed players easily. But as a team i've also lost from real noobs. Often, it depends on who gets the connection.
-
That would work if our individual work counts more, then it can work. Heck it worked in D1!
-
Don't underestimate just how bad I am at PvP 😋
-
2 AntwortenI've beaten fireteams with randoms, common sense is common sense. Also unless they share a clan tag there's no way to know if they are a stack anyway. Go in wanting to win, don't hope to have an easier time.
-
I can deal with 4 stacks what pisses me off is that my teammates are using meta weapons standing in the most obvious firing lane. There’s no -blam!-ing radar for a reason, use that shit to your advantage.. instead of getting team shot by some cucks on the other team camping lanes.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von mxgreg: 6/16/2018 8:00:10 AMYou just don't get it... Almost every time I face teams when solo I'm slowed down. I face lag. I don't care if they are working together or are better. I just want my shots to count, to register. The larger the team, more chance for lag. I don't leave comp matches, because I know it screws the team.
-
Nothing to worry about, take the 4 stacked team stomping like a good solo casual and like it, don’t you dare complain 😂 A good indicator in comp, however not an absolute guarantee. If you you’re waiting to be matched and you go from being one to five players instantly in a lobby, back the hell out, you’ve been matched with a 4 stack.

Explain people logging on others accounts to get them the claymore? It's a high skill player in a low skill players world.
