go heroic or go away
Seriously, I am so tired of players who don’t know what they are doing in public events. If an event does NOT go heroic, the drops are shit. And that is super annoying. It makes participating in the public events utterly unfun. All that work. All that expended ammo. All that time waiting.
If Bungie had delivered on open world chat, it would easy to educate others. Instead I’m melee-ing others and dancing up a storm in front of them to try to communicate that they are focusing on the wrong thing, and guess how effective that is? Yeah.
Just watch what the level 25 characters who are wearing complete sets of armor do. It’s not hard. Shoot the Cabal ship. Open the vents. Knock out the glimmer engines. Kill the big blight and not the small ones. Etc.
Ugh.

Sometimes I rush public events and finish them before they can be made heroic. Mostly because its funny to see people rage on the forums later on in the night. Downvote me all you want, but maybe if Bungie put something in this game for me to do. I wouldn't have to entertain myself at your expenses. The forums are my endgame, hatemail is my Raid Exotic.

1 Antworten^this is why i do everything in my power to make sure events dont go heroic. Because there are babies out there who cry and moan like someone os killing them when it doesnt go heroic. Always a good laugh, especially when they send hate mail

Some reasons why not every PE gets turned Heroic. 1. A PE soloing guardian who is trying to hold back the tide and can't or won't Heroic. 2. Everybody shows up at the very end and there isn't enough time to trigger the Heroic. 3. The Taken PE still isn't known by everybody and those who do know either try to trigger on the first bubble or the last bubble which sometimes causes failure to trigger Heroic if players wasted ammo and super. 4. Every once in a while a players are rushing PEs instead of triggering Heroics, strangely I seem to join those in the last seconds and land exotics. 5. The Mercury PE is easy to mess up since I've seen players trigger the first part and then nuke the giant Minotaur which ends the PE normal not Heroic. (I've accidentally done it too with the voidwalker super and got rewarded with an exotic)

Or ya know....find some friends to patrol with if it’s “too hard” with ranods. Most people don’t want to trigger them because they’ve learned that the loot is the same regardless, one token and a blue..

2 AntwortenI'll play the game however I want. If I don't feel like making an event Heroic, then I'm not going to try. All Heroics can be activated by 1 person so, if you want extra rewards and no one else does, go earn them.

You can solo activate most heroic public events if you have a Wardcliff Coil. But yeah, occasionally you do get that one derpy guardian that just ruins the heroic activation.

Not sure why people are still focused on public events. It takes -way- too long for the reward tokens, and cores are easily priority 1 to be farming/grinding right now.

As somebody with over 2,000 heroic public events, I can tell you, you can make them all heroic without help, and despite people trying to rush through them. Use wardcliff coil, especially for the blight,. and try telesto for the ship, you can shoot it down before it makes it to the point where it hovers.. for me it isn't about the chest rewards, I farm them for xp, to get bright engrams, it's a difference of 1,000xp from regular to heroic. the only one you really need help with is the one on mercury,. Unless you use the raid sniper rifle for the anomolies.. I hope this helps.
