Daily Dawning Gifts are a Scam
My dad and I play destiny 2 together and made a discovery. There is no RNG in the daily loot boxes they are preset to give out junk items. Every time we complete the same gift he and I get the same item and it’s always a ship or sparrow not guns or armor. Today we both got the Zephyr sword from Amanda and then both got sparrows from Shaxx. Bungie is keeping armor out of the free boxes so that players will buy loot crates.

the only gifts worth to get are the ones you get for doing 5 pvp matches but you get only one for character i recommend you to do only the 5 pvp matches and if you are going to play strikes do the other ones other wise is not worth because when you do the 5 strikes you only receive 2 miserable shaders.

1 AntwortenAnybody noticed we don’t have to complete any objectives before receiving the daily gift? It’s like bungie felt guilty and removed the grind part to compensate for this shitty event. Having said that, we are still locked out of the other rewards.

Not saying that I don't believe the results, hell at this point I wouldn't be surprised, just that having a secondary verification would make this information fact and make bungie look even worse with the disaster that has been d2 in December

12 AntwortenI don't see why everyone wants to have gaurenteed the entire set for free by the end of dawning. If the RNG was that forgiving, you'd have it within the first couple of days. Its an event item/set. It shouldn't be that everyone who logged on has the set. People should have incomplete sets. Lucky people should have full sets. People who use IRL $$$ simply have more chances of completing a set.

I earned 1 piece of armor, the Hunter Cloak, out of 42 rewards from Ikora...sad.

you can inspect the engram... it shows the only items worth getting is the sword and a class item.....

Did the daily Dawning gifts on each of my 3 characters yesterday (I'm not getting the "quest" anymore for some reason, it's just giving me stuff now), got Jasper Dawn Shell with the same roll and accompanying shaders twice, third character got the same shell with a different roll and different shaders.

Confirmed for me. As it looks now, the dailies have a loot pool of: shaders, ships, sparrows, the sword, and class items. Neither I nor my friends have gotten armor from anything but the first mayehm clear engram, first strikes clear engram, and free Dawning engram per account. Which I think is stupid. It should be per character. I basically had to choose which character to outfit because there's no mathematical way I will get full gear sets for all three characters before the event is over. It's not even based on grinding because we get so few shaders/sparrows/ships/anything worth bright dust value to overcome the amount needed to buy the items available. Oh, and the only reason u was able to get all of it was because I had bright dust saved up. Also, I still haven't gotten the class item. So there's that.

Maybe if you inspected the item rewards you would know they're different from the engram you get weekly for the dawning

Hey bud. Have some fun with your dad but don’t get too bent up on the grind. I had to run the daily on a few characters for a few day before I got something besides a shader. Maybe a ghost, holiday sword, or cloak, mark. In no time it will be another event and new stuff.

19 AntwortenThose dawning gifts are a different loot pool than the dawning engrams. Armor isn't even a chance in them. Well... aside from the class items. But even those are different class items than the dawning set.
