I agree with this sentiment. I liked mythic+ because it was challenging and fun at the same time. (Unless modifiers were garbage that week) I think bungie wanted to appeal to a more hardcore community for nightfalls so now the casual playerbase feels left out. However even WoW had fun modifiers in M+ but nightfall modifiers just make the game more tedious I feel.
