To the day I lost my arm. Today's my alive day as of 12 am. Something military men who have come close to eating it call their second chance at life.
I celebrated by raiding.
Played D1 for a long time but always thought I'd be a hindrance.
Tonight I bought beer. I called the boys. I wanted to prove I could still game.
After losing count of tries, messing up hand positioning on the controller and accidentally popping shields when I wasn't supposed to....
I finally got him. with the help of Frick squad (my clan) not only did I take on Calus and win. I put out some of the highest damage numbers on the team, got my wife a clan raid engram, and can officially say I can still hold my own when it comes to gaming.
Edit: wow. Thanks for the awesome responses and support. Those in doubt, understandably so. Internets a hokey place. Either way, thanks for listening to an almost thirty guy get waaaaay too excited about beating a video game boss 😂 you are awesome.

1 AntwortenSomeone probably already posted this but there are great guys at thecontrollerproject.com and evilcontrollers.com who work on specialized controller mods, depending on your unique play style they might be able to design something that you felt helped you compensate :) keep the kills coming, Guardian.
