As we all know, bungie may have made it just a little too easy to get exotics in D2. Man I remember the good old days back in year 1 when you were lucky to get an exotic once a week and if you were able to get more then your name would go down in history as a legend. My solution is called “Prismatics” they are a higher tier than exotics and they have the same drop rate as original D1 exotics. There doesn’t have to be a lot of them I was thinking one for each weapon slot and 3 or 4 for each class. If you were to get a prismatic weapon or armor or piece it would take the place of your exotic (that way you can’t become extremely op). Also, xur would not be able to sell Prismatics. The only way you could get them is by ACTUALLY GRINDING, weather you are playing strikes, raids, public events, the night fallit does not matter as long as you are actually playing the game you will have a slim chance of getting one. Prismatics are would be designed to work how exotics were intended, totally change the way you play the game. They would be meant to be conversation pieces, just like when everyone asked me how I got my gjallarhorn I gladly told them the story of how I got it. Now remember, I am not asking for some type of game breaking item, just something that fundamentally changes the way I play D2 and something actually worth grinding for.
