Wouldn't it be cool if we could have mounts as guardians?
Ahamkara would be for Warlocks so they can sour in the sky, it takes your super to use it. You breathe fire from it.
A battle steed for Titans so they can ride around with a jousting stick, and shield. Also takes super.
The Hunter doesn't ride anything, but runs really fast with a pack of direwolves with a hatchet in hand.
Edit: I guess you guys are throwing up at this concept, forgive me... I just wanted to see if you guys liked it, I thought of this idea because the game is half si-fi, and half fantasy.

Maybe something more alien, creatures from other worlds. It could even be associated with the Traitor subclasses I came up with awhile back. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/209884553?sort=0&page=0&path=1 Instead of Sparrows, though, traitor Guardians who complete the questline can summon mounts, via the use of a special artifact. It would have to be limited, though... maybe you would have to kill 50 enemies to charge it, and lose your special ability in the process. No shadestep or barrier for you. Hunters get an elusive, insectile creature from the same evolutionary line as the Fallen that spits arcbolts. Titans get a massive elephantine mount from the Cabal homeworld, something with armor and sharp tusks. And warlocks could get a semi-mechanized Vex-like creature, slow but with enormously powerful energy armaments.

3 AntwortenYeah, why ride a magic hover bike that appears from thin air when we could ride a belching pile of flesh meat.

The broom was great. I miss the broom.

Sounds cool, but definitely would not fit into destiny.

I would like to ride Petra. She looks like she has strong legs and could keep going for hours without a rest.

1 AntwortenYes, I want to ride those abrahamkara and fly like an eagle to the sea, fly like an eagle, let my spirit carry me, I want to fly like an eagle til I'm free.

I say we just get pikes available instead of sparrows. Heavy pikes were the shit in D1.

This post is kind of silly to be honest.. and lore wise, the ahamkara were sentient beings of great power, and offered dark wishes.. Doubt they would stoop so low as to being someone's mount. Not to mention the great hunt killed them all off.
-
2 AntwortenWrong genre, friend. Now, if we got more scifi alternatives to sparrows, that would be cool.
