Age of Triumph - Xbox players
In the twitch reveal stream Bungie showed some of the milestones required to complete the record book. On the Crucible page, the "Historian" milestone requires the collection of all 30 dead ghosts on the crucible maps. Xbox players have access to only 28 of these maps, Sector 618 and Icarus being Playstation exclusives.
Does this mean that Xbox players will now have access to these maps - and hopefully that the other exclusives will also be available to Xbox? If not, then the record book should be different depending on whether you are on Playstation or Xbox as it is not reasonable to have milestones that are impossible to complete for some guardians.

I hope they keep that cancerous strike in ps tho The psion flayers and undying mind are strikes that i wished ps kept and i hope that harpy strike doesn't come either These annoying strikes are quite tedious

21 AntwortenThere are actually several record book achievements that will be impossible for some guardians to complete. For instance I first started Destiny on the PS3 during the Beta and later on a few months after release. I played on that account through the release of TDB so that account would have gotten the "From the Beginning" achievement in the record book, had I have stuck with it. However, I left the game shortly after TDB released (for various reasons), but I eventually came back on the PS4 a few months before HoW released. So even though I experienced Destiny from vanilla - TDB, because that was on a different account, I will never be able to have that record book achievement on the account that I currently use.

1 AntwortenThanks to @G4rg0 I realise that my post above is incorrect. There are actually 29 maps accessible to Xbox (my mistake, I miscounted) and there are 2 dead ghosts on Bannerfall so you can achieve the 30 required. This presumes that the 2nd one on Bannerfall (the one for Lysander's Cry) is still available (I can't check as I already have it). I'm still concerned about the exotic weapons, although this depends on whether the year 1 and year 2 versions are counted separately.

1 AntwortenPut it this way, we can never get all the grimoire cards for crucible (psn exclusive maps cause this) yet there are still cards for sector whatever for Xbox players

They said "April Update" next year, last year.

5 AntwortenI played on 360 and only got a xbone just before house of wolves same account/ gamertag will this count as day one. And only got 6 weeks on ps4. So not a lot of early stuff for me on that.

2 AntwortenI hope so. The only thing console exclusives do is tear apart the community they are built around. Seriously, Xbox players don't even have the content from Taken King yet. Just give it to them already Bungie.
