Hotfix 2.5.0.2 Thoughts From A Beta Player:

I'm going to try and present my thoughts on this in a fairly level-headed manner. First off, Hand Cannons are now REALLY strong. Pretty much the best weapon class for their effective range. This is a problem for Auto Rifles, because they share the same effective range. It's very easy to outplay an Auto with a Hand Cannon in this current state of the game. Auto Rifles still need tweaking (Focused Fire is still terrible, by the way). In regards to other Primaries, Clever Dragon and Grasp of Malok still seem fairly useable and I'm fairly happy with those changes, so props. Scout Rifles are the same they've always been, so not much to say there, and other Pulses seem to be faring fairly well too. The Hawksaw archetype is as strong as ever and the Parthian Shot archetype is more useable (although I still feel they get outplayed by Hand Cannons and the faster firing Pulses). Now Specials, and this is where things get a bit messy. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the special ammo economy changes. Sidearms dominate 6v6 currently because they completely negate the special ammo changes you implemented, and leave little reason to use anything else. Either revert the change back to how it was, or change Sidearms so they also lose ammo on death. In terms of the Truth nerf, I don't particularly have a problem with it. It's still the best PvP rocket for 1v1 engagements. I personally would've nerfed the mag size back down to 2 as opposed to 1 but we'll see how it plays out. In terms of Class changes, totally fine with the Thunderstrike and Jugg shield nerfs. They were warranted. Also don't really have an issue with the Hungering Blade changes (although if you could fix all the other health regen perks you broke that'd be swell). Don't really see why you nerfed Blink again. It was bad enough after the Recov nerf, but now there's pretty much no reason to use it. I also don't really agree with the changes to Quickdraw on Bladedancer as it now leaves Fleet Footed as the only viable option for PvP, and it also provided a nice alternative for people who didn't have Quickdraw on Snipers. In terms of Shinobu's Vow and Ophidian Aspect, I just want to say that the Shinobu's Vow changes don't appear to have applied. I still have two grenade charges when I use it and the tracking is as obnoxious as ever. I'm fine with the Ophidian Aspect changes. It was a loaded exotic and there was pretty much no reason to use anything else on a Warlock. And that's pretty much it. I decided I didn't really want this to be a rant, and hopefully the devs can get something out of this feedback.
