Rejoice, my friends. Relevancy will soon be restored to our old raids.
It's been all the buzz on the forums about new incentive to do older, obsolete raids like Vault of Glass and Crota's End. Well, now they're coming. Scott Taylor recently said in an interview with Game Spot that they have been planning to add new reasons to replay these raids for a while, and that Bungie is working hard on it. While he did not give a date or even an estimate to work off of, he did go into further detail about what the update will entail.
The raids bill be SIVA-infected, with nanomachine wires sprouting from the crevices of VoG's claustrophobic corridors or the gothic underworld of CE. The enemies within will be corroded by the machine virus, the elemental properties of their weapons altered and small mechanical tweaks. Bosses like The Templar, Atheon and Crota will be revised and differentiated so that they reinvent the way the encounters are played. Perhaps the shields must be downed by sword and then firing upon Crota, or the Aegis used against Atheon? It is not known what the changes are, but the possibilities are riveting.
Our sacred and favorite weapons from these raids, including Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence, Fang of Ir Yut and even Necrochasm are being restored with new twists. They will all be I fusible with changed stats and perks. As suggested a few lines up, Scott Taylor has indeed confirmed that raid exotics like Necrochasm and Vex Mythoclast will also be revamped.
In addition to this, the rewards will be great. Bounties containing upgradable materials for the new items will be posted at the Bounty Master every reset. In the raids themselves, aside from the weapons, changed armors from both raids will be included and many other unconfirmed drops.
Overall, this seems great for the Destiny community. It could really revamp the veteran Year 1 player base and give them a reason to hop back into the fray. Taylor Scott said as well that they will be released in short proximity of each other. My guess is one in February and another as part of the April update, but it's all just speculation.

4 AntwortenWhat you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for reading it. I award you no upvotes, and may God have mercy on your soul.
