I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret. We're going into the third year of Destiny and a lot of you haven't realized this, but LL does not determine someone's skill. Now you all must be thinking, "But Mexi, if my opponents LL is really low, I can One tap him." And sure that is a possibility, but if your opponent, is several times better than you, they can still out play you. The same thing goes for PvE. You could be LL 400 on normal WotM and perform worse than someone who is LL 370 or even 360. TL;DR: LL is important, but it doesn't reflect your skill.
