So I know there have been posts about this before but I strongly urge bungie to take a look at the type of players going flawless and how often they go flawless. It is impossible for an average player to go flawless, everything else is obtainable in this game besides that. So, why is it an average player can't go flawless? I believe that once you get to 7 wins or even 8 the matchmaking is so unfair that you will never get flawless, how does it make sense that an average player goes up against an elite mlg player? That is a battle I will never win. Some people go to forums and I'll do that from time to time but you will hardly ever get to 5 or 6 wins doing that. I have my clan mates but since I'm average they hardly play with me, they want flawless too so they try and stack up their team to get there which I understand, it's just frustrating to play trials in the state it's in, the elite players have it good because they go flawless 3 or more times in a weekend. There has to be a solution for the average player to get a little farther in trials, and I don't have all the time in the world to practice and get super good at the game, I work and have a wife and so on.

While people like to laugh off average players getting screwed in trials, trials wouldn't exist if it wasn't for those average players. Its pretty unrealistic that if you are even matched every time you will take home 7 or 9 wins in a row. Trials is basically set up so that if all the players you can just shit on leave your chances of getting to the lighthouse are gonna drop drastically. And Bungie knows this... why do you think they added all those bounties giving some crappy rewards just for playing trials? Because if they don't get those average players into trials the "super elite" are going to end up by themselves in a frustrating and unfulfilling playlist its nearly impossible for them to reach the lighthouse in.
-
Trials is not for you. Leave, and when all thats left in trials is the super try hards, then you will see them come onto the forums bitching about how its impossible to go flawless when you are matched with an equally talented team every match. Stop feeding them, let them kill Trials.

Lighthouse is not for average players. Not going to water down trials for the less skilled players

1 AntwortenIt's funny the kids being rude to this man are flawless try hard kids. He has a right to an opinion, and you have the right to constructive criticism. I can bet half of you committing are 5 year old kids , who think they are MLG gods because they can shotgun. But dude good feedback, but to me they really can't do much about trials in it's current state.
-
Why should they? I'm about as "average" as one can be. I'm at like 1.0 kd ratio across my 3 characters. (1.06 / 1.0 / 0.96) I don't expect to ever reach the lighthouse unless someone carries me or I just get insanely lucky with my team. As such I've never bothered with Trials. The lighthouse is pretty much supposed to be where the "elite" go. If you're not elite, then you shouldn't expect to get there. Maybe they could make a TIERED lighthouse... like get there once and you fight against other lighthouse T1 winners to try to get to Lighthouse T2. But then you're fighting the people that made it to T1 already and will have a hard time to get to T2 because the opponents will be tough. And then people will whine they couldn't get to the T2 lighthouse.

1 AntwortenI completely agree. No aspect of the game should shut out a large portion of players. Trials has broken matchmaking and fosters elitist behavior.
-
Meh I can manage it... I play less than 6 hours a week.
-
Some Bungie dev tweeted that Trials was designed in such a way that average players were not meant to make it to the Lighthouse.
of course, with people paying for flawless runs, that sentiment is pretty much moot
-
That's the point. No casual should be able to go flawless without being carried. One of the bungie devs said that it is intended that no average player makes it to the lighthouse.
-
Disagree with post. Go back to being a dad. Not a crucible assassin.
-
Half the people saying "get better" probably are on the large list of dos'ers that get away with it. (which has become a rampant problem in ToS). It doesn't take skill or practice to disconnect someone or pay someone to do it for you. ToS is broken and Bungo intends to do nothing about it.

Bearbeitet von Dagoth Ur: 10/31/2016 5:30:19 AMCome on man, stop whining. It's the top end PVP content just like the hard raid is the top end PVE. It's suppose to be hard, people practise and practise and fail over to get to flawless level of play. Everybody starts off trash. If you find a good team and play with them all the time, practise in crucible during the week, rumble is good for self defence. I forced myself to snipe in crucible all the time, now after 6-7 months of practise i can hit headshots pretty good

There should be some element of legitimate challenge in Destiny, and that is Trials. It's not meant for average players to just casually conquer. It's supposed to be very, very tough.
-
Since when does being average equate to being perfect?! Think about what you're say; average players should be able to achieve flawless.....AVERAGE.......FLAWLESS.
-
No. Trials is suppose to be for (and say this with me) Top tier players Stop trying to nerf trials and go practice. Everything in this world can't be given to you.
-
Not trying to be a dick here but it doesn't make sense that someone who can't even go positive should be able to reach the highest PvP rewards that our game has to offer. Practice and get better. Just because I bought Starcraft 2 doesn't mean I deserve to be Grandmaster. The only thing stopping you from going flawless is you. I feel your pain though, I haven't been flawless since year one :(
-
If they make it a handicap for bad players them you should get nothing but grimore for it.

Check out @_mantis_'s Tweet: https://twitter.com/_mantis_/status/787114500960821248?s=09 There you go right from the devs tweet, Trials is working as intended not fir the average player.
-
A bungie dev literally said it's definitely not meant for average players so go away now.

Somebody give this man a carry or at least a chance... They have multiple people that will help you get there. This community isn't as bad as people make it out to be If we were on the same console I would gladly help carry you, that being said, flawless isn't for the average pvp player, just like hard raid isn't for the average pve players. If you die a lot and suck, they have a normal raid, you just don't get the same exact rewards, same thing with trials, if you can buckle down for the last 2 games and sweat your little chode off, you can go flawless. Ask for help, ask for carries, ask for people with 1.3+ kds to play with you and work on your game. There's a threshold you have to break, find a way.

14 AntwortenI work, have a wife, 2 kids and play trials on the weekends when I have time... been flawless over 120 times. The competitiveness of it is the only thing keeping this game alive.. If they nerf trials for people like you, it's ruined... You don't need to go flawless for ANYTHING!!!!! What is the world do you want? You can raid to get higher gear, the Trials weapons are not the best, so what are you complaining about???? you are like the kids in sports that need a trophy for showing up... If you are not good at it, move on?????

I hate people who get mad about not being able to go flawless The lighthouse is supposed to be for the elite (even though it's not) That being said, it's still not that hard to go flawless. I have classes and work every day, so I don't get a lot of time on weekdays to practice. My friends are pretty bad and I myself am not that good, and I STILL have 11 flawless and 4 carries under my belt.
-
1 AntwortenTrials is for everybody; the lighthouse is not.
-
Actually it's perfectly easy for an average player to win 9 matches in a row, you gotta get lucky is all, just pray you don't get matchmade with streamers and/or cheaters.

1 AntwortenWell ToO isn't made for average players. It's an end game pvp mode, and in order to succeed you need to be exceptional at pvp.
