Playing PVP is a waste of time.
Playing PVP is a waste of time. Bungies matchmaking is the worst in gaming history. It is frustrating, no fun and not worth playing. For me playing Destinys PVP was so much fun before the Taking King came out. But then it gets worse and worse and worse....Lag everywhere(cant count how often enemies kill me through walls), sweaty try hards because of skillbased matchmaking, no option to try some "fun" loadout etc. Private matches are ok, but what is with the players who have to play solo or have just 2 or 3 friends playing PVP?Right, they have to rely on "normal" PVP. Connection based matchmaking would be so nice but i think Bungie just doesnt care. Playing PVP is just a waste of time because it ruins your day and makes you smash your controller. So sad.

I have a hard wired connection with one of the most powerful internet speeds you can buy and I live in one of the busiest cities in the world. Why am I constantly matched with 2-4 red bar players in the average pvp game even when there are no parties? SBMM is the biggest cancer I have ever encountered in a game. I would HAPPILY loose to the 0.1% because I got outplayed. Not because the only other people on in my skill bracket lives in New Zealand. Also playing NOTHING but sweats isn't fun. According to destiny tracker I am ranked in the top 7-5% in the majority of playlists, but I have a 1.1 kd and 50% win ratio because I only play the top 10%. Yet in trials, where it's just connection and wins on the card, I have a 2.17kd, 82% win rate and connection is 10x better on average. http://imgur.com/j7VtfBG Because of SBMM trials is the LEAST sweaty playlist for me. That's messed up. There should be a ranked playlist that goes by your skill and rank. And a connection playlist where it's just connection based. My kids used to play on my account. They can't do that anymore as it matches them against sweaties the majority of the time. I try to play with friends and introduce them to the game, but they matchmaker with me and it matches them against players in my skill bracket and my friends who I'm trying to introduce to the game get absolutely stomped and never want to play again.
