Make the matchmaking smart. Come on this is activision we're taking about here. They can make the matchmaking to where I actually have a chance at going flawless. I'm an average player I play both PvE and PvP. But when I try out trials and try to go flawless I just get run over on my 3rd of 4th win in. Please fix the matchmaking to where it's skill based.
Edit: This post has gone on long enough. THIS WAS SATIRE!!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Hitmans_Creed: 10/5/2016 11:54:51 PMIf you're losing on the 3rd or 4th, you shouldn't go flawless. You should logically get the hang of a map and the other teams strategy by the 1st game and 2nd round. If you can't do that then how do you expect to go up against people who play this game more than you?
-
How about taking the 27 artifacts out of gold package bungie cuase two artifacts in a row really wants to encourage us to play more.

I like the way it is. Yes it's extremely frustrating when you get beat by a better team or 2000+ elo players butttttt..... It's a tournament! I went flawless on all three characters but it wasn't three quick cards then gg. We had plenty of sweaty matches in the 789 games (and a couple blow outs) and had multiple card resets I've tried, like many of you, to come up with an alternate solution to the current match making system to provide a more balanced experience for everyone. Nothing is more frustrating then checking your opponents before a match and seeing two top 500 players carrying a .3 k/d for money and or a few more twitch subscribers. If you were to assign them to another bracket after they've gone flawless they would just not buy boons. Carry people all weekend then get their own rewards on Monday. The only solution I can see that makes sense is if they revert back to cbmm( connection based match making) which would return that more random feel to your trials card...I'm not sure bungie will do that however lol The only advice I can give is be tenacious. Don't get fed up after a blown card or two. Just keep at it. Reevaluate how your approaching the map. If you can't snipe stay out of the sniper lanes. If the other team is rushing you stay back, team shot from distance and stay flexible. If they rush and you might fold rotate to another sector of the map. Play for ot and force a chaotic scramble for the point. Communication is key, if you notice your being flanked by two people, team push the lonely guardian on your radar and camp the orb. I always enjoy playing with new people and I'm not overly concerned with my elo so shoot me a msg on xbl and if I've got time I'll play a card with you Gt: Temmyboy

2 AntwortenYou want Free loot for not being good? Then go play pve and IB

4 AntwortenPopulation is the biggest issue. Right now it's low because of low expectations to succeed against the high skill players. If they were in a separate playlist we would still have a low population problem split all weekend. What I think we need is a flawless badge. If you earn your badge then you are priority matched against other badge holders but not exclusively to preserve populations. Then to incentivize that make the badge like the rise of iron book. If you beat other badge holders you get more exclusive cosmetics, ornaments, and legendary weapon variants like the adepts. The badge would reset each weekend. Then everyone wins unless you simply have a problem with less skilled players having a more fair chance at the lighthouse in exchange for elites getting more rewards. In which case you're just selfish at that point.

7 Antworten
Come on this is activision we're taking about here.
Actually this is bungie. Now I hate to be that guy but... Get good if you're loseing you're 3rd or 4th passage thats you're own falt get a better team or play better. The match making is fine the last thing I want is people like you making trials to easy and boring... Rant over.

2 AntwortenNah it's fine how it is

1 AntwortenI did trials at 355 light didn't struggle and made it to the lighthouse match and lost, but I wish they did make it like year 1 where it was all random

Bearbeitet von SwiftBMF: 10/5/2016 6:35:39 PMTrials needs matchmaking to bring in some new blood. Its the same people every week, matchmaking would allow tons of fresh players that are very good but dont want to go outside the game to invite random strangers just to play a few pvp games. Hardcore trials players do not want new competion, the only reason you could be against matchmaking for pvp is because it would make it harder to go flawless but it would make it alot more competative.

2 AntwortenCouldn't agree more.... BUT, While we are at it lets reduce raid bosses health by 50%. Make the nightfall 110 light and have bosses in Siva Crisis strikes fire healing beams.

5 AntwortenTrials is not for average pvp players. U dont beat the best u dont deserve to go

We already have smart matchmaking in Trials. You (most of the time) get matched with a team with an equal number of wins. Though I prefer the random Y1 matchmaking in Trials.
-
Tbh me and my 2 other friends are average players. We went flawless twice last week. Nothin wrong with matchmaking just ur team
-
It should be difficult trials is for the best players. Things can't be handed to you. Keep practicing and eventually you will make it.
-
But... I almost went flawless last week
-
IMO to make it fair they should just put everyone who's died in the same trials playlist and put everyone else in their own

13 AntwortenYou are a below average player (like me) and from your games you are having trouble getting a 2nd game win. Either practice and get better or play with better teamates that can "carry" you. Asking for ToO to change in order to get easier for you is like someone asking for a (SOLO) easy Raid mode because he either does not have a group of people to do the raid or he is not good enough to finish it. " where I actually have a chance at going flawless" You have a chance to go flawless. All you need to do is win 7 games.
