delivered very little?? TTK was a massive hit for this game, but yes they did not deliver all the exotics we thought we were getting.

Really? How many of the raid weapons do you use on a regular basis as, say fang of Ir yut, VoC, fatebringer etc? Stick up a poll asking if anyone would like the first 2 raids brought in line with the new raid and see how many people would prefer to run VoG over Kings Fall. How many people prefer the new pvp maps to year one? I'm not necessarily saying it was a rubbish DLC, I'm saying it failed on a lot and in fact made the game actually worse by making everything going you did in y1 pointless.

TTK was, just like Dark Below, a step to the side rather than fully forward....
-
First of all, lets not pretend any of us were excited for the crotas end weapons, nobody liked them then. Yes the weapons for this raid are terrible but the raid itself was an amazing raid, the only reason why it might not look great anymore is because its the only playable raid we've had for almost a year, vault of glass was great but we would have felt the same about it if we had it as the only option for a year also. 3 new subclasses, new enemy type, complete new location, exotic quests, gunsmith weapons and class specific quests, new gear, new weapons, 3 new strikes and a raid, how was that not good for the game, everyone was hyped for months after it came out, as far as pvp maps I enjoy them all the same. The only thing we can legitimately hold and say was done wrong was them holding back some of the exotics we thought we were getting, that was it.
-
Look, I think all OP is saying is that TTK was akin to Dark Below, more of two steps forward, step to the side, maybe a half step back rather than three steps forward...
arguably this whole game has been a bit of a letdown all along for a good many people....
-
for a good many people.... yes. but not the majority and the fact that theyre still producing dlcs for this game shows it. Thats business fact.
-
Nobody liked crotas end weapons? Dude fang of ir yut was a beast and my favorite year one weapon. Song of ir yut was a good machine gun. Word and hunger of crota were both good weapons, especially hunger if you didn't have gally. Not to mention that black hammer was the best sniper in the game, before white nail got nerfed, without taking your exotic slot.
-
I agree with the black hammer, I was talking more about the primaries, back then we had the fatebringer and voc, there was no reason to use crotas end primaries because they had crappy perks, back then they werent popular guns, they never have been.
-
I saw people using fang of ir yut all the time in arc burn activities. It was a monster back in year one. Word of crota, while not as good as fate bringer, was a solid weapon and I hate hand cannons. I used it for void burn nightfalls though
-
Disagree. Arc damage scout. Void damage hand canons. No one ran with anything other than elemental damage primaries in y1. I will say the return to kinnectic damage primaries was a good move, but you are not going to convince me that this new raid is anywhere near as fun as VoG. I'm not actually trying to say that TTK was bad. I'm saying don't believe the hype. Or do. Makes no difference to me.

VoG is the best raid... Kings Fall is soo tedious.
-
Completely agree. Pretty much only the final battle had that sense of chaos and triumph that more than a few parts of VoG had, not even to mention the excitement of the rewards at the major encounters....
-
Yeah.. I think My excitement level was almost the same between GHorn, Fatebringer and Vex Mythoclast.... Pretty excited about the new expansion but Bungie has to find a way to bring us back to that year 1 excitement level.
