The Crucible is pretty close to balanced (just nobody tries it)
I've been playing Destiny since launch and I have to say that the current state of the Crucible feels very close to being balanced.
By "balanced", I mean that I feel like I can go in with basically any weapon I want to use and feel like I can have success. Just recently, I tried out a couple different weapons I haven't tried yet: a Grim Citizen, a Treads Upon Stars and a Water Star Adept.
While each one certainly worked differently, I had very good games with all of them. Not to mention that I see all kinds of guns that kill me. Sure there's a lot of Mida and Hawksaw, but I see Suros Regime, Eyesluna, Lord High Fixer, and Suros Dis 43/47's too on top of plenty of others.
I now have fun pulling old guns out of my vault or keeping guns I would normally dismantle and trying them out to see how I do. Most of them, once I learn them, are pretty good!
I haven't seen or been able to use this kind of variety ever that I can really remember in the Crucible and it's wonderful!
Go outside the box and try some new weapons this week! You might discover some hidden gems and you'll certainly have a lot of fun!

If you lose, you'd lose a loved one....Or how about your own life? What would your loadout be??? Weapons and subclass. Suros Regime? A Weyloran's March? A Nirwen's Mercy? Would you use a sidearm? It probably wouldn't be these options. What would it be? This is hypothetical and would never happen and answers will vary. Phrasing it in this way can make someone really think about what seems to be objectively ( as objective as we can be ) the better choice. In all seriousness and for anyone to answer. What would it be? What's your cheapest strats?
