6 AntwortenAm I the only one that doesn't give a shit about the story in shooting games? I didn't care about halo's story, or gears of war, or 007, or duck hunt. I just like running around & shooting things & other people.

2 AntwortenI hope not, we got enough stories already. I hope they go back to one of the existing stories and continue it. Maybe the stranger, I think there is some funky time-travel shenanigans going on there and I want to be on the other end of the conversation when she had no time to explain. Or maybe the Prince since he needs a good punch in the face. And finding the Queen is alive and being ransomed off by the 9. And the cabal have some of their forces that aren't just some of their spoiled fat kids on a team building weekend on the way. Also, we should probably be looking for more fragments of the traveller, remember that one we found? Or any of the other stories we began in year one...

11 AntwortenSo once there was a game with a story line based on a tribe of turtles going around using black magic to turn mushroom people into rocks "because reasons". The mushroom princess was dating a fat middle aged plumber because well, maybe it would further the story line. Despite the end goal being to save the mushroom people the fat plumber would sometimes eat the surviving young mushrooms, and maybe flowers, or stars... really just about anything that would keep him high enough to not question why all the clouds were smiling. Anyway my point is nobody cared about the plot. It was a game and you just played it to have fun. What ever happened to those days?

3 AntwortenWe'll get an attempt of one. One that'll probably raise more questions than answer them, just likr with the TTK. The problem with the story is that there is no base for it. The vanilla story had close to no story. It's very difficult to build upon something like Destiny's Vanilla story. They have to do an amazing job with the coming DLC's if they want to have a decent story. The grimoire has so much potential if implemented correctly into the actual game.
