I guess there are gamers who do whine about insignificant things about a game. Wow. What a useless rant

To you it may be insignificant. I enjoy earning achievements and its fun for me. So because it's insignificant to you that means it's not important? If that was the case why are achievements around at all? They weren't around up till the PS2 or xbox or even the gamecube. So why did the console makers decide to implement them? Because they knew people would find enjoyment out of showing off their accomplishments.

Microsoft put them in the 360, Sony had them much later, around 2008. And then steam had it later on too. So the other people jumped on the bandwagon. It is like motion controls. Everybody wanted to do what the Wii did.
