If you are going to make Grenades, the bonus kill type for the Challenge Of Elders, then you damn well better put on Catapult.
Titans are the only class with an option for multiple grenades across all classes - Requires Armamentarium. With SunBreaker - you can mitigate the delay with Simmering Flames.
Sunsingers can use their 2 grenade perk.
Hunters - only the Gunslinger gets 2 Tripmines -Young Ahamkara's Spine. Can use Scavenger perk to speed up a little.
This time around we get to throw 'em then wait. Cuz nobody wants to run this more than twice this week and non-grenade kills just don't give enough points in the later rounds.
Regardless - Challenge went from a novel distraction with a modest fun factor to a full blown ClusterF#@k because you weren't paying attention. The few remaining friends who actually still play this game with me are taking a pass on it this week. The fun level on CoE this week is right up there with an all-in-one colonscopy & root canal.
Last week's precision kills pretty much sucked too. Since, between each shot you landed, the Taken adds would put up their bubbles. Wizards just spammed you, unless the bombs got you with their 35 second spawn rate. Vex just crouch and Hobgoblins catch on fire.
I'm all for challenges, that are challenging. Grind fests & artificially inflated damage requirements are not Challenges. They are products of laziness.
