Yeah, I know that I love firing off my entire cylinder to get a kill because I don't have the patience to wait for my weapon to settle after my first shot.

It's not that good you have to be patient and take time with your shots or you will get phantom bullets. It can two shot but that is just random.

C'mon man, xb1ers finally get a small glimpse of how good that gun really was and there's already ass hats calling for a nerf? Let 'em enjoy it for a few weeks at least.

3 AntwortenIt has the same TTK as any other hand cannon, except for when you get a lucky bullet proc. But the Stars have to align to get a Proc-moon kill. You need to be using Aggressive Ballistics (which lowers range, stability and aim assist,) you need to land two headshots, you need to be in range and the opponent can't have any bonus armor perks. Hawkmoon is one of the most balanced exotics as it stands right now.

If you're getting 2-shot by it outside of close range you need to increase your armor. And while its RoF is decent (same as all mid-impact HCs), it has poor stability and lots of bloom so you can't reliably shoot it a max RoF because of "phantom bullets." Compare this to a decent roll on Eyasluna where you can fire as fast as you can and land shots reliably due to much better base stability (and range, BTW). In a Crucible filled with spammable weapons (DoP, MIDA, TLW), we don't need to nerf guns that reward good aim and pacing your shots. I'd like to see you use Hawkmoon while getting shot by MIDA from mid-long range or DoP/TLW up close and tell me it's OP...
