Doing the raid first is probably the worst thing you could do if you wanted to get to 335. When the update dropped yesterday, I played tier 3 court of oryx, the nightfall, and PoE all first to level my character up a bit before I raided. The raid only seems to drop gear up to 5-6 light levels higher than your current level, so to maximize your chances of getting to 335, you should raid LAST so your level will be higher by the time you raid, so your raid drops will be better. The raid is good to level quickly, but if you fully intend on trying to get to 335 the fastest, you'll want to refrain from raiding until you've beaten all the other activities to increase your light as high as possible prior to raiding.
