Unknown, aboard the crusader's vigil
Luther Ohlmacher stood in his power armor, force sword sheathed at his side and bolter pistol holstered. He stood on the command deck of the battle barge.
"Status report?"
The navigator was slumped over cradling her head.
"The warp, it is gone I, I can't feel it."
"Switch to secondary systems, get us a heading and report to the marshal that we cannot use astropaths."
"At once sword brother."
Luther shook his head, this was worrisome Indeed. This crusade was off to a bad start.
However the sensors showed a ship nearby, as they closed it became clear that the ship was hostile. A quick boarding action revealed that a this ship of xenos had star charts of the entire galaxy. Nearby was an asteroid belt that reportedly had a chapter of space marines. That would be their destination, to find out what was going on.

A pair of Redemption-Class Battleships loom near one of the larger asteroids, while a Strike Cruiser and Battle Barge focus on the asteroid itself, shuttles moving to and fro between themselves and what appears to be a small landing zone on the abnormally large and round asteroid.
-
The crusader's vigil and her support ships moved forward towards the asteroid, though they kept their distance. The black Templars sent a message to their counterparts ahead of them. "Greetings, what chapter do you hail from?"
-
Bearbeitet von Sigmar: 3/18/2016 7:42:17 PMThe receiving Comms Officer replies in earnest. 'We are of the Sons Of Ymir, working cooperatively with our Brother-Chapter, the Void Wolves. What is your purpose here Loyalists? Out looking for The Traitorous Sons?'
-
"There was a warp storm as we chased the treacherous green skins. When we surfaced we were here, where ever here is."
-
'That, we do not know ourselves. The only ones among us who do know are the Captains and the Hunt-Master.'
-
"Then perhaps you could ask them to share that information. We must return to our crusade."
-
'They won't even share it with us, and we're their Brothers. I suspect it has something to do with the conflict the Wolves had with the Red Scorpions all those years ago, but that may just be wrong. I cannot tell you for sure.'
-
"Then where pray tell can we meet with these captains, the heretics and xenos assail the imperium and we must return before our numbers are missed."
-
'The Captains are busy handling the supply transfers, but the Hunt-Master and his Sternguard are on the asteroids surface camp. They might not be occupied at the moment, best way to find out would be to land and ask around. We'd call down for you, but all these damn rocks are interfering with most of our communications. It's a wonder we even got you on the line in the first place.'
-
"Indeed, inform the rest of your fleet not to fire if you can, we will take a thunder hawk down to the surface."
-
'Already done, we'd have fired already if we had a feeling you'd be trouble. We don't usually have issues with Loyalists, try to keep it that way.' The ships line dies, and the shuttles carry on their business between the small fleet and the asteroid.
-
As stated a single thunder hawk departs and heads towards the surface.
-
The camps landing zone is marked out by a flat metal expansion of the landing Barracks, and a small airlock with a green light overhead indicates that entry is available.
-
The thunderhawk lands in the indicated area. A group of black Templar initiates lead by a sword brother exit, descending the ramp.
-
A pair of Terminators step out of the airlock, and motion the group inside, walking out into a small crater as they do. Inside, they find a group of black-armored Astartes, presumably Void Wolves, standing around a small planning table, with black and red-armored, (definitely Sons Of Ymir), Astartes working in the background.
-
Bearbeitet von General Percival: 3/18/2016 10:10:06 PMThe sword brother advances and looks around the room. "Greetings, I am Luther Ohlmacher, sword brother of the black Templar. I've been sent to inquire about our location."
-
The tallest of the Void Wolves steps away from the table, and over to the group. 'Well, you've an issue. The Warp has dumped you here and you can't get back, that's what i figure has happened here. And we can't get you back unless you want an unsanctioned modification done to your ship, and want to wait for the parts to get here with an engineering team. We've already met two Chapters this way, so it's a good guess. If it isn't correct then, speak now.'
-
The black Templar sighed. "Of course, where is here exactly? And two other chapters? Which ones?"
-
'An altered reality from the one we originally inhabited. We're near this realities version of Terra. As for the other question, it was a Novamarines Battle Barge the first time, and the second time it was a Dark Angels Strike Cruiser.'
