Why is 99% of the loot we get useless? Infusion + RNG = The Suck
It's been ~5 months since TTK dropped. Can we all agree the infusion experiment has failed miserably, [b]from a player's perspective[/b]? The RNG loot grind isn't fun. The remaining features of the game are losing the fun as a result. [b]Forever 31X sucks.[/b]
I'm betting 95% of the Destiny population really doesn't need anymore sub-301 drops, even 301-319 are pretty useless these days.. Hell, at this point even if the weapon/armor drop is 1 point below that's slot's current max light piece, the drop is typically useless and getting dismantled into weapon/armor parts. Where's the sense of reward in that?
I personally don't have time to grind out raids so I've had to rely on special events and 3oC to get my light level to where it currently is (312). However, I've been in a long plateau and not seeing any reasonable chance of improving my light level further so my interest in Destiny has been waning. At least in year 1, reaching max level as a "filthy casual" was somewhat obtainable. I'm just not seeing the "light" at the end of the tunnel anymore.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Louise Belcher: 2/25/2016 1:18:16 PMconsidering that there are currently no games out that have my attention, yet i would rather surf fkng facebook, clean stank litterboxes, and/or do the damned dishes than login to destiny... that is a rather telling tale of how awful this game has become. sure i could melt down one of my toons to infuse the other and get to 319, but really, who gives a shit? sure i could login once every three weeks and lfg my way through gorgy orgy challenge mode, but sorry i have completely lost interest. if there was a reason to login everyday and at least progress in some way it might have been worth it. i used to login every day during year one to at least do my bounties and progress my dead orbit faction. but they nerfed faction rep gains into the ground, so that is just a huge waste of time. dailies are worthless. weeklies are worthless. nightfalls are just a means of getting shitty ghosts (aka worthless). if i was 320, i would then focus on infusing other weapon loadouts and completing other faction sets. but feh. they just sucked all the fun out of the game with all the nerfs. in an age where people eschew cable television for binge watching freedom of amazon and netflix, and actual sandbox play is becoming the meta, bungie micromanages destiny more than any online property ever. so much so that we, the players feel like the population of some awful sim earth where they manipulate every aspect of the planet's environment and monitor our every move, so when they see us enjoying ourselves too much, they release a deus ex machina to give us the smackdown and remind us who is in control. tldr: ,,|,, bungie. #forever318 #notfun #bagofrichards
