A friend keeps telling me that thorn is better and I say they're meant for different ranges. What do you guys think?

Year one TLW. 111 Crit ADS;-;

Gonna go with the thorn based on its overall utility. Great at pretty much any range, 3 shot body, dot movement tracking and much more reliable shots. TLW destroys in CQC better than pretty much anything providing you don't get phantom bullets. Super easy to mysteriously lose shots and burn through a clip though. In a 1v1 I'd take TLW, but 1v1's very rarely happen when you're playing a decent team.

I love the look and feel of the Thorn. The Last Word is a monster in its proper place.

16 AntwortenThorn takes more skill to use. It's called aiming. TLW: -find enemy -panic fire till they die -profit

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Raider TCK: 2/22/2016 10:52:32 PMThorn. Literally in every conceivable manner. It tracks fleeing opponents, Prevents health regeneration. Is a 3 shot kill to the the body. Excellent range. Fantastic stability. Highest aim assist on any hand cannon. In the recent pvp tournament made up of the best pvp players in the world. Every single player, in every single team that made it past the semi final;. Was using thorn as their primary weapon. That's not a coincidence. Not a single team who had a last word user in it made it past the semi finals. Last word is very good. Nobody's arguing with that. It's a fantastic close range 1v1 weapon. Thorn craps all over it. Why do you think bungee hasn't bought into year 2 yet? They know it's broken. We know it's broken. The fact is if you need to use thorn to do well in pvp, you are awful. There are a LOT of awful players in this game. It's like when sun breakers were broken overpowered. If you called it out on the forums they would all jump down your throat. Same for fusion rifles in vanilla. Felwinters lie in year 1. People don't like their crutches taken away. Last words very good. But it's a close range 1v1 weapon. Thorn is the be all and end all weapon that's good at all ranges and in all situations.

They're both great. Depends on the person aiming and pulling the trigger.
-
Can't say anything about Thorn because I don't have it. But their story is awesome
-
Last word has no range, if it was a primary only fight thorn would win because you can you use it any where on the map and believe it or not it has the same fire rate and with thorn all you have to do is hit body shots
-
Last Word is OP right now, but that might just be because literally every other weapon has been nerfed. >.>
-
Thorn is cool
-
The fact that thorn isn't winning is why I can't take this forum seriously.
-
1 AntwortenThorn is better because of it's ability to completely shut the other player down. Even if you are in the range of a Last Word player once the DoT begins to hit them they are in trouble. Honestly I hope they find a way to really nerf Thorn into uselessness. It really breaks the game even now in year two it's still effective and shows up in PVP.

Thorn is the best primary in the game.
-
6 AntwortenLast Word, obviously. Despite what the dumbass streamers say, it isn't balanced and kills faster than a -blam!-ing machine gun. It is too strong.
-
4 AntwortenAggressive = thorn Back pedaling and playing defensive = last word.

CQC= TLW Ranged= Thorn
-
They are both better, depending on the situation. I voted TLW, because the situations when it is more effective than Thorn are more common than vice versa. #TitanMasterRace

Thorn is a better weapon but I like tlw more
-
3 AntwortenNeither. Go find a weapon called Dreg's Promise. Best gun in the game.
-
Last word bc it's year two
-
8 AntwortenTlw takes less skill imo you can just kind of point it in their direction from around 50-60 feet and let it loose

1 AntwortenThis poll shows how little forum users actually know about these guns

Your position is the more supportable position, op.
