Does this raid do it for you?
For me, it doesn't. It's not that fun, its to long and the rewards suck. The raid should start out with the 6 relics like it does, then you go through the portal and are at the warpriest. From there, you go to golgoroth, to the exotic chest and through another portal to the sisters. If the rewards were better, I might be able to justify playing it but I don't like wasting my time.
Warptiest and golgoroth are fun. Sisters and Oryx aren't as fun.

The rewards are complete shit. Whoever was responsible for them should be fired. The raid itself is pretty decent. But it loses the charm with repetition. Vault of glass is still the superior raid for the fun factor. The problem is, kings fall is so mechanically heavy that it makes it hard to use your own play style. You're forced to play it the way the designers wanted you to play it. It feels more like memorizing a play book than playing a game. Vault of glass had an arena feel to it. It was more fluid and interactive. It wasn't "right switch. Boomer is up. Ok left side get on. Tether, bubble. Ok I got the relic get off the plates. 10, 9, 8, 7... snipers are up. Get out of the aura. Detonate in 3, 2, 1..." It's way too mechanical and robotic.

I've completed the raid once. It's boring and time consuming and I flat out don't enjoy it.

1 Antwortenits fun kind of simple i like the boss fights but they are very simple templar was crazy compared to warpriest and golg...people just dont know how to run it well enough yet and there is no room for error in vog if 1 guy died it was fine 2people could still hold off the harpies in crota if 1 guy died oh well shoot rockets in kf if one guy dies 1 less guy shooting ogres or platforms disappear 1 less guy to shoot the shade and that is base case scenario worse when the relic runner dies. and people thought vog puzzles were hard ive probably spent more time waiting on people to jump across the ships and run to golg then actually fighting the bosses

Too task based. Not any parts you can just have fun and play.

The rewards are so boring. I miss op guns like elemental primaries or black hammer. They were fun, which is what gaming is supposed to be.

I like the whole raid itself. It's a great challenge, not VoG standards, but a solid 2nd place. But it's the loot drop mechanics that kill it and the some of guns just plain useless. Probably the main reasons why VoG will still be best raid Bungie put out

I like the majority of Kings Fall minus the boss fight. It doesn't feel like you're fighting oryx, just the environment around him.

It was fun at first, but there are only 5 fights to do and you have use to only two weapons in the entire raid to use for all the fights, if you don't have them you get insta kicked without question... Which makes it stale and very repetitive. Depending on the group it can take you 2 hours to complete with wipes and if you have a terrible group it would take 4 hours which sometimes is just a drag! People try to rush through it and to only get loot that is lower than what you have... Specially doing hard raid and get normal loot(terrible loot system btw). We just need something new! I love PvE but I wish there was more to do!

Players take this raid too seriously. Too many specifications and demands. Year one was more open to more variations of guardians. Playing TTK nowadays feels like applying for a job.

I guess every raid should be like CE then, that way everyone can solo it and they don't need to worry about having a team or using mechanics.

My team has speed run hard mode in 47 min. Is that long or are you saying the raid is long because you either don't have enough skill or the people you surround yourself with don't have enough skill?

It's okay. The oryx fight is quite good but a bit easy.

Im probably one of the few players that actually like the raid. I Dont really like the start. But i love the jumping ships. I see it as a speed run. When i Dont feel like running its a good break before we begin. Totems is easy and get your blood pumping. Warpriest is fastly done. Blow yourself up at the big pole. Golgoroth is a easy Fight. Than another break because the jumping is easy. Than the fun begins. I love daughters and oryx.

6 AntwortenThey over did it on the coordination and dependency on other team mates this time around. I understand it's a raid and that's the point, but the rate of having to restart each time from the most stupidest smallest mistakes makes this raid really irritating sometimes.

4 AntwortenIt all boils down to another scripted raid. You have to follow a pre programs patern, do the event just like they have designed it or you don't beat it. Slowly removing freedom. Vog was fun. Few thing you had to do but more options on how to do it. Crota was a joke. Make boss kneel, sword weilder beats down boss. Poe was fun with the rotations different combos bombs, defuse, destroy etc etc. Kings fall is a led by the nose. Scripted events you must do a certain way. Sucks the fun out of it.
