In Y1 it did it all the time if you got a precision kill, i haven't messed a lot with Y2
-
Pretty sure it actually says that in the perks for year 2 now, but ya it was a nice surprise in Y1 to find out.
-
3 AntwortenMost exotic have hidden perks like thorn can Peirce enemies ghally has grenades and horseshoes truth has tripod etc
-
Yeah it was definitely in year one. Came in handy for nightfalls with arc burn. Pair that up with a fatebringer and it was on; explosions everywhere. It just procs more in yr2 i think than it did in yr1
-
Yeah I only noticed that recently too and I am a beta player XD
-
It was in year one as well. It just wasn't as common of an explosion. They buffed it in year 2
-
9 AntwortenI actually didn't know that! I had Thunder Lord twice before, but just scrapped it because I wasn't really in the mood for an exotic heavy
-
I'm remember the first time when this hidden perk processed for me... I thought I was seeing things and so I quickly recorded a clip and watched over and over and still couldn't believe my eyes. To this day whenever I use it, I can be heard saying Thunder... Thunder... THUNDERLORD HOOOOOOO!
-
How many people drooled over this gun when it was featured in the gameplay teaser before game release?
-
4 AntwortenYeah it's a chance lol don't feel bad though I didn't know tlw was full auto.

4 AntwortenNothing better in Y1 than Thunderlord vs Omnigul in an Arcburn Nightfall. Exploding Thrall and Fallen like fireworks on independence day! And Ive never seen Omniguls life drain so fast! Well... until Nightstalkers with boltcasters became a thing.
-
I pretty sure it was a chance of that happening too, not all the time.
-
They buffed it in Y2
-
It's always done that
-
It's been my favorite exotic since it was the very first one I obtained in Y1. It has an Arc version of Firefly that activates on some precision kills. Goes through lesser enemies like nothing.
-
3 AntwortenYea it's been that way since day 1
-
Bungie increased the chance to trigger arc explosion with the 2.0 update. If you've used it at all since TTK went live then you should have noticed.
-
Hi im waffle, (Hi waffle) and im addicted to thunderlord, its been my main exotic since i got it in year one on my second nightfall. Ive always know it had an arc explosion, always wondered why it never said it was a perk but just rolled with it. And then it got a buff and i was so happy, and by now if you didnt know it did the explosion you did now
-
11 AntwortenIt's a hidden firefly perk. It's been there since year 1
-
1 AntwortenThey made it so that it has a 50/50 chance roughly, before then it was like "why did he explode? Huh i guess it's nothing"
-
3 AntwortenLies if you used it a lot then how come your grimoire says only 539 kills on it. Maybe used but not by a lot.
-
1 AntwortenIt also has built in armor piercing rounds
-
15 AntwortenIt's like an arc firefly. Speaking of which, elemental fireflys would be a great perk.
-
1 AntwortenSparrows also beep when going backwards, going up to cover works as well.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Rogisgodlike: 1/18/2016 8:02:15 AMSince when does thunder lord cause arc explosions? I have one I'm Going to try this out!! If so it will replace my raid machine gun!

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von GnardSmasha1: 1/18/2016 9:41:28 AMYeah, it's firefly but I'm thinking that Bungie has severely nerfed the perk on all weapons. It just doesn't seem to cause the same explosion size or the same amount of damage as it used to. I have a void TYS with firefly and it may tickle an enemy right next to the one I headshot, but that seems to be about it.
