For a class that takes the most skill to use effectively, and from medium range, it is terribly underwhelming in PVP.
Tether takes WAY too long to activate. The arrow is pretty slow and easy to avoid. The new Void Wall grenade is basically RNG on which direction the wall will go, meaning most of the time you'll try to throw around a corner, but it's angle is totally off.
Vanish in Smoke doesn't get the benefits of Lockdown, so it's wasted in PVP.
Predator. Where do I start with that. Void traps sound good on paper, but are super easy to avoid. It's rare I actually get someone with it unless the tether is on an objective point. As soon as it registers an enemy near it, it charges up with a noise, the person just needs to keep sprinting normally to get out of range hilariously easily.
Snare doesn't have the problem Predator has, as the Smoke Grenade detonates immediately, but Predator should be doing the same. You already went through the trouble of using up your Super bar to set up a trap, so it should already be primed and charged and ready to tether.
Also, firing it is such a hassle. The best way to fire it is stationary from the ground, because even if you're walking and use it you'll just float away into oblivion, never to be seen again. The anti-grav floating thing is just way too much for this super. Why not go stationary in the air? Sure, there's situations where you can activate, float around a corner, and fire immediately at an enemy, but those are few and far between.
I dunno. Nightstalker just seems super underpowered, even with it being a support class.
What are your thoughts?
EDIT:: There's a lot of anger in the comments. Seriously? Yeah, I made this post, but it's just a game :\ What's with the inconsolable rage? Did mommy not bring home dinner or something? Sheesh. It's just a forum. Just a game. No need to throw things around your room before commenting.

4 AntwortenIt's one of the best neutral game subclasses available actually it's super is weak but like defender, it is not meant to be amazing. All of the perks you talked about have amazing advantages in pve, and you failed to mention all the perks that make pvp amazing.... you are just another person twisting facts and leaving facts out to conveniently make your argument. For instance shade step is incredibly effective in pvp, lock down using a vortex grenade and envenomed smoke grenade is incredible powerful, Tether can stop supers if used powerfully, bloodhound and black hole being the most reliable at grabbing and stopping guardians mid super. If someone is crouching behind a corner, a void wall grenade will be all you need to move them back away from shotgun distance. Keen scout is the must underrated perk on any subclass for any character because it is in the same skill tree as shadestep. The ability to lock onto and track targets after scoping in on them provides momentary wall hacks and provides an amazing advantage when trying to anticipate an enemies next move.
