Snipers aren't the problem. They're obnoxiously popular, yes, but overall they've barely changed since launch.
The reason were seeing a lot more sniping is because;
A) Most guns are sh*t
B) Bungie keep f*cking with the meta
It's also the reason everyone and their mothers were foaming at the dick about the return of MIDA, which essentially became an overnight Gjallarhorn, and it's... Just ok. It's not an automatic win nor is it even remotely overpowered, it's just a solid weapon that rewards precision.
Simply put most of the guns just all round suck for PVP, and if Bungie continue to flip the established meta on it's head, players aren't going to want to get attached to anything nor become at all competent with it because it won't be long til Bungie fires up the Nerf cannon and we all have to rebuild our Crucible games from scratch.
foaming at the dick
Lol good show ol bean. Here's a bump for you
-
Agree with you there, and thanks for the positivity. The only thing I would change is that damn aim assist perk.
-
Lol even with Hidden Hand it still has less AA than Her Benevolence, Longbow Synthesis, and Hereafter. Aim assist doesn't make bullets curve, nor does it make hitboxes bigger. On primaries it does this, but not snipers.
-
Once again, all year 1 weapons, most weren't used because shotguns were the meta. Hereafter has a ugly scope, so people stray away from it.
lol
Year one snipers, yes, but power doesn't matter in crucible unless it's IB or ToO. I use my HB all the time because it's better than pretty much everything else. And shotguns were the meta if you decided to rush. Snipers were actually better in year one. More AA and no damage falloff.
