Completed Hard Mode Raid Challenge last night at 3:05 AM
My best friend beat hard challenge mode at 3:05 am this morning, they started before the reset but ended 5 minutes after the reset. He got the calcified fragment showing he beat the challenge, two chests appeared, but he got nothing, no ship, no shader, no 320 gear, and no emblem. Why?
A person I was talking to had me check his advisors on bungie, which now show that he has beaten oryx for THIS week, like he beat it after the reset, however, if that was the case then there would not have been two chests and he would not have received the calcified fragment.

No challenge mode loot since the encounter was completed after the reset time. Loot is rolled at the time of completion, and in your unfortunate case, the completion time was after challenge mode was over.
