Is it normal to get nothing
I killed the sisters and got nothing. I didn't know that this was possible... No shards or anything

Ya the game usually gives people nothing. More likely you'll get either nothing or something bad then you'll get something good. It's like 9/10 times you'll get either nothing or bad stuff
