...and it felt amazing!
Seriously, though. I haven't played Destiny in 3 months, and coming back was a huge disappointment. It shows everything wrong with the game and community.
1. Nearly everyone has already done the raid, so 90% of the community only wants "experienced players." This means that if you take even a small break, you fall behind and it takes a very long chunk of time to catch up. If you can catch up.
2. Everyone has new exotics, legendaries, 320 light level...except me. And I can't raise it because, again, it's all "experienced only."
Other games (Battlefield, Halo, even CoD) don't pressure you to buy the new dlc to keep up with normal gameplay, and if you take a month break, the only things that change are possibly a few patches. You can set it down and pick it up again later. With Destiny, you always need to keep running with it out of fear of falling behind the rest.
Summary: Destiny isn't a pick up and play game, it's like running a race. Stop for a few seconds, and you're guaranteed to lose almost instantly. Whatever Bungie needs to do to change that, I wish they would.
Edit: Endgame stuff. I can't do endgame stuff.
