Ever heard of a Buff, Bungie?
(Edit) Let me clarify:
Just enough buffs to make all weapon types to be viable, and all supers to feel... super. Also, who wouldn't want some drop rate buffs?
This post isn't just about the most recent update. It's about how Bungie's de facto response to any sort of problem lately (past few months) just seems to be to hit the big red Nerf button a few times.

1 AntwortenRotating. Weapon. Meta. That is all
-
Nerf everything to make the TTK longer.

1 AntwortenThere are twice as many buffs as there are nerfs in the upcoming patch's notes. But yeah, sure, they only nerf things.

Buff Bagwell?
-
Buff everything
-
11 AntwortenThe bigger issue is that if they keep buffing things, then they end up creating a far too "fast" game meta. It turns into every weapon becoming a near-instant kill, making it all a matter of who can pull a trigger first. By boosting a few weapons and tuning a few others back, it progressively balances things down to a solid balance, where everything has a place, and nothing standing head-and-shoulders over others.

5 AntwortenNerf the nerfing!
-
2 AntwortenIf they buffed everything the ttk would be at around CoD tier.

2 AntwortenIt's nerf or nothin.

1 Antworten"Meta" users are always the people that cry for the game to stay the same...
-
2 AntwortenThey are just trying to make the game more balanced. Do you want everything with the time to kill of the last word before 2.0?
-
13 AntwortenThere were multiple buffs announced in the weapon balance update...

I just don't get how they buff autos but then nerf pulses just keep them the same so people don't choose one over the other
