Pro gun/anti gun Pro life/choice Pro gay rights/sanctity of marriage Etc Isn't there like, more important things that should be worried about? Like the fact that America owes 1.3 trillion to China?

Conservatives are liberals And liberals are conservative... (Let a fight break out...) Okay! Here we go... Ron Paul basicly summed up that free enterprise is a relatively new... No... Just new system in comparison to mankind's history. Conservatives are just keeping the same systems used in america's founding that made us great and trying to keep it lasting as long as possible. Liberals however, we have seen all over history. Socialism is a new term (as explained by Ron Paul) but the form of government has been used throughout man's history through feudalism, tyrannical monarchy, oligarchy, and some aristocracy. High taxes to the government, and the government controls the lives of the peasants. In terms of ideals, we have seen at the end of the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, all went on the decline when liberal ideology came about. When the nations and empires failed, (particularly the Greeks and Romans) had homosexuality, inflation, no reguarding for family values, state controlled, and the armies were ill equipped and hated... Letting in barbarians to rule over them. Europe as we see now is getting overrun with "barbarians" as the weak liberal governments fail to keep a hold over their nation. In short, liberals have been repeating the same mistakes repeatedly throughout history, and we can see that society is weak because of it. That's why I said that they are conservative. Conservatives however, seek to preserve and sanctify things because it has been proven to work. We learned from the mistakes, made changes, and keep those changes, allowing for progress in society. But that's none of my buisness...
